Haitian Relief Event Sponsered by Lombardi a Great Success

The "Help Haitians Heal" fundraiser was a great success. Read the thank you that I received from the TSETSE gallery:

Dear Councilman Lombardi,

Thank you so very much for sponsoring an exhibit at The TSETSE Gallery which helped raises funds for Haitian relief efforts. Your sponsorship allowed us to raise an excess of $7,090 for Haitian relief surrounding the recent tragic earthquake in Haiti.

Because of your support in making this event possible, a medical delegation of doctors, physician assistants, nurses and translators departed for a week-long trip to Haiti. They provided free medical and emergency relief to the many citizens of the earthquake-ravaged island. This medical mission took place on the ground-level, where the group stayed in tents, setting up medical clinics and providing aid to those in need. It was also the mission of the group to reach villages outside of the capital city, where relief had yet been reach. The group provided medical assistance and distributed foods and hygiene supplies. Thousands were aided through this project!

Again, thank you very much. Your sponsorship was a respectful honor to receive and helped many people!
